Hello once again gardening fans! Yes it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here.
Live gardening classes have been on hold for some time now, so last year I decided to take a bit of a break from writing about plants. I got this crazy notion to create a book of my artwork, something I have been doing since I was a child, drawing mazes. In fact, I call it “a book for children of all ages,” Chuck’s Crazy Mazes.
I have a small website, and you can order signed copies of Chuck’s Crazy Mazes directly from me via my website chuckscrazymazes.com for $8.99. I’ve even started an instagram account #chuckscrazymazes. Check it out!
With that book project completed, I am returning to writing. Given the current situation, I am also beginning to create and share instructional videos. Here is a YouTube video of my popular class How Orchids Rebloom done for the monthly zoom meeting of the Lakeside Garden Club in January.
We are beginning to change the website a bit. Previously my book How Orchids Rebloom was “print on demand,” meaning that the book is not printed until you order it. This avoids storing books in a warehouse, but unfortunately also means that I never see the book and cannot sign copies.
However, one change we have already implemented, so starting now, when you order my book How Orchids Rebloom, the order will come straight to me. I will be doing the shipping, and you will receive a signed copy directly from me. This now (thankfully!) enables you to order a copy for a friend, that I can sign and ship to them myself.
And here’s an advanced secret, later this week, How Orchids Rebloom will officially be removed from amazon (yay!). Once that happens, I will legally be enabled to lower the price by several dollars a copy.
Stay tuned and happy Spring gardening!
Chuck
