This weekend is your chance to attend the Fall Show of the San Diego County Orchid Society! It’s in Balboa Park, Room 101 in Casa Del Prado, where all the other neat plant events happen.
And IT’S FREE!!!
I plan to be at the show early Saturday afternoon (independently, not working with the show) for couple hours taking photos and looking at all the plants. Stop on by if you just want to say hi or want assistance purchasing a plant. Hope to see you there!
The orchid photo on the poster is a type of Tolumnia orchid, or as a group, what were once called “the ‘equitant’ Oncidiums.” These “miniature” orchids (I’m not sure if I like that term in relation to orchids) are one of the few types of orchids that can rebloom on the same flower spike! Look for these at the show!
