In this class I will show you how to create eye-popping container arrangements for your fall and winter landscape, as once featured in the San Diego Union Tribune. I will discuss great plant picks, the best soils for containers, as well as how to design using the notion of “contrast and continuity.”

HOW ORCHIDS REBLOOM
In this evening class at the monthly meeting of the San Diego Epiphyllum Society, I will describe the three basic requirements for all orchids to rebloom and the five main reasons orchids fail to rebloom. I will also focus on the most popular orchid, the Phalaenopsis, demonstrating proper repotting techniques and what to do when they are finished blooming.
