This Saturday June 8th at 9:30am, I will be leading a FREE vegetable gardening class at one of the best community gardens in San Diego – the community garden of the Northminster Presbyterian Church in Clairemont.
Here’s a chance for you to tour the garden plots and gather ideas on raised bed gardening, planting arrangements, and incorporating art and flowers into your garden. I’ve been to this garden several times, and with each visit, I am continually impressed with the friendliness, colorfulness, and dedication that goes into this particular community garden.

We will discuss whatever comes up, and I will emphasize:
*How to select healthy vegetable and herb starts
*Ways to conserve water in a raised bed garden
*Proper plant spacing for optimal plant health and yield
*The Square Foot Gardening Method
I will have copies of my new book How Orchid Rebloom for sale, and will remain after the class to answer all questions and walk through plots with gardeners. Hope to see you all there!
The class is FREE and ALL ARE WELCOME!
